Mark graduated from North Carolina State University in 1991 with a degree in zoology. He attended Physical Therapy school at East Carolina University, graduating in 1994. Born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Mark moved to Henderson county in 1994. He is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), and enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family.
